Penguin Bag

I made this bag for my mother-in-law for Christmas 2007.  

She and a group of friends love penguins and always buy each other little odds and sods with penguins on them, so I knew she'd appreciate a penguin bag.

I used a pattern out of a magazine for this bag.  The original bag was strips of different greens with an appliqued fence and birds on top.  I went with black and white prints and found a picture online to use for my appliqued penguin.        

I was pretty happy with the end result, especially the penguin!
